A full-time associate professor position in “Veterinary Parasitology and Animal Parasitic Diseases” is open within the Department of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases (DMI) of the University of Liège (Belgium).

The “DMI” seeks excellence in its missions i.e., fundamental and applied research (including international networking and awards), general activities (including the fight against infectious and
parasitic diseases), teaching and lecturing (bachelor, master and PhD degrees).

The profile of the candidates (M/F) must be compatible with these different missions, including a strong background in research given that the professors of the DMI operate as “researcherslecturers”. To encourage the synergy with the other departments of the Veterinary Faculty, particularly with the clinical departments, the appointed candidate will base his/her laboratory within the Faculty grounds. Conversely, he/she will freely choose to join one of the Research Units within the University of Liège.
