The Institute of Parasitology is a joint institute of the Veterinary (Vetsuisse) and the Medical faculty of the University of Zurich. The Veterinary Parasitology Unit es embedded within the institute of Parasitology, wich consists of several further research units (malaria research, vector entomology, molecular parasitology, zoonoses and translational research). The Veterinary Parasitology Unit focuses on epidemiological, pathological and pathophysiological processes inducing parasitic diseases, and the interaction between parasites and their hosts using in vivo and in vitro models. A postdoc position is available in our dynamic research group focusing on parasite infections in different animal species.
